Yea, but Berger wasn't trying to protect himself. He was trying to protect Clinton. WHY? Why would he do it?Since he was the National Security Advisor, I dispute your claim he wasn't trying to protect himself. I'll say it was that plus protecting Clinton. The record is replete with Clinton cronies "rolling over one more time" and doing his bidding for no apparent reason. But this time clearly Berger would have been involved in the issues.
