CBC latest ...

Sandy Berger said he unintentionally took the documents – including one assessment of the administration's handling of al-Qaeda terror threats during the December 1999 millennium celebration – as he was preparing to testify before the Sept. 11 commission hearings.

Berger voluntarily returned some documents, but drafts of the al-Qaeda assessment are still missing

Something was being hidden from the commission, don't you think?

That the Commission was so lax with classified documents further proves their uselessness.

"Berger voluntarily returned some documents, but drafts of the al-Qaeda assessment are still missing."

The statements from Ashcroft indicate that the Millennium Plot review detailed that Al Qaeda was operational in the United States and was planning an attack. These documents - and related documents - appear to be the ones Berger pilfered from the National Archive.

Absolutely incredible! Clinton knew that Al Qaeda was here, and he sent his national security advisor to steal classified information related to their activity!

Berger testified at one of the commission's public hearings about the Clinton administration's approach to fighting terrorism. The former president answered the panel's questions at a private meeting.

The former national security adviser himself had ordered his anti-terror czar Richard Clarke in early 2000 to write the after-action report and has spoken publicly about how the review brought to the forefront the realization that al-Qaida had reached America's shores and required more attention.

This is pay dirt!
