Map indicates it centers on the northwest area of the island, well away from Victoria.
I seem to recall the length from south to north of the island is around 200+ miles.
A cousin of mine lives in Victoria, and I have visited this beautiful part of God's planet. Hope nobody got hurt.
That distant on Victoria location
and the 13 mile depth would probably explain the lack of sensations in Seattle.
It still likely cocked the Seattle area faults all the more.
