She said Moore "is someone who cares about this country deeply and is trying to help." Leni Riefenstahl said much the same thing about Adolph Hitler.

"That was news to us. We didn't know it was 'The Greatest Hits Tour.' " It's news to me too, since she really didn't have any "greatest hits"...they were pretty much all other people's hits!!!

Squyres said half the audience walked out, an estimate that might have been high. But the number was substantial, nevertheless. Yeah and Michael Moore's "applause" at Cannes was anywhere from 10-25 minutes but it was "substantial". The media didn't seem to try to nail down the real number, they didn't even question Mr. Moore's hype of the 25 minute figure. He eventually acknowledged that he didn't know how long it was because he had walked out to the lobby.

Is anyone here old enough to remember Lainie Kazan as a voluptuous Playboy centerfold? She played Mrs. Portocopolos well, but...........

It was Nancy Wilson that inspired me to play guitar, and have been doing so for 25+ years, and yes, they STILL ROCK! If you haven't got it yet, you should get their DVD that came out in August of 01, shot at the Paramount Theater in Seattle. Wish I'd known about it at the time 'cause I would have been there! Hope they come back to the home town soon.

Vegas isn't a town for class envying socialists anyway. It is built on a dream of greed (and I can't say Capitalism). The government gets a hefty slice off the top (and then additionally taxes all of the winners).
Buffets offer a feast of riches (including many options that vegans would oppose).

How much weight that carries is debatable, since the bankrupt Aladdin is in the process of being sold to a group headed by Planet Hollywood International Inc. Chairman and Chief Executive Robert Earl. If Ahnold and Bruce Willis are still major Planet Hollywierd owners, it just may carry weight.

Blue Bayou was a favorite - You could always try listening to Roy Orbison's earlier recording...

Do you have Nancy's "Live at McCabe's Guitar Shop" CD? Good stuff... sort of an "Unplugged" set.

"She said Vegas isn't the best place to perform anyway,"Nooooooo, she wants to perform in those 25 table coffee houses where only people like Moore, Kerry, and Edwards can afford to pay the cover she's "accustomed" to getting.

NO! Never heard of it! Crap! Have been a fan for years, but have recently fallen in love with Alison Krauss & Union Station (lots of bluegrass stuff) and haven't paid nearly as much attention as I used to. Guess I'd better check it out!

Oh God not another entertainer I can no longer listen to.
If this keeps up pretty soon I will be down to listening to my parents Pat Boone albums-not that there is anything wrong with that.

Would she fit in a coffee house?Maybe if you knocked out 10 or 11 tables...Then again, if Moore DID show up, it'd be a complete wash, now wouldn't it?
