What is it with Americans who go for these Gurus de Jour. Who are usually revealed later as charlatans and/or sexual predators.
(There are rare exceptions)
They come to the states, fool their admirers, make a lot of money and then drop out out of sight or are exposed.
Such Gurus are common in India, they are like rock stars, and Indians find such adoration by foreigners rather naive
