You said it better than I could--I agree 100%. Wish the reporter had taken the time to contact the *victim* and ask her what *SHE* thinks about this pity-fest...I'd be willing to bet that she's probably outraged, too, though not over the "hard labor" these scumbags had to perform; but rather that there was *ONLY* seven years of it...

Personally I think people that commit these kind of crimes need to be building railway bridges in Burma or possibly walking to Bataan.
Please keep in mind that I am not saying that making any comparisons between those POW's who were slave laborers for Japan and these pieces of sh*t who dishonored their Corps and country.
