WASHINGTON, DC - Bush-Cheney '04 Campaign Spokesperson Danny Diaz issued the following statement regarding Senators John Kerry and John Edwards' newly announced travel to Colorado:
"Senators John Kerry and John Edwards represent the most divisive, out of the mainstream ticket in the history of presidential politics. Never before has the Democrat Party chosen the most liberal member of the U.S. Senate and the fourth most liberal member of that body. The Kerry/Edwards ticket is wrong to oppose tax reform for Colorado families; wrong to oppose No Child Left Behind education reform; wrong to oppose a prescription drug benefit for Colorado seniors; wrong to oppose Healthy Forests legislation; and wrong to oppose support for our troops in Iraq. Senators Kerry and Edwards' pessimistic vision of America is wrong for Colorado and wrong for the West."
They must be kidding right? The John 2 Metrosexuals have no chance of winning Colorado. But if they want to waste their efforts in flyover country, I'm all for it.
I remember a story in the Denver paper saying" "It is thought that Kerry can win Colorado since he was born on a Colorado military base."
I'm sure that'll play well. Just because a cat has kittens in an oven, it don't make 'em biscuits. But don't tell gigolo John that. He thinks he represents everyman.

Well then I guess President Bush will win Connecticut. I guess I forgot that the liberal elite think everyone west of Manhattan is just a dumb hick who'll think "oh, he was born here, he must be like me." Won't work in North Carolina, and it certainly won't work in Colorado. The Boulder/Aspen crowd isn't that powerful.
Senators Kerry and Edwards' pessimistic vision of America is wrong for Colorado and wrong for the West."
And.........It's wrong for the WORLD.
