KYOTO — A group of international lawyers opened a mock Iraq war tribunal in Kyoto on Saturday, putting U.S. President George W. Bush, British Prime Minister Tony Blair and Japanese Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi on the dock.

Legal experts posing as prosecutors read out a mock indictment in front of an audience of about 400 people at Kyoto's Silk Hall, accusing Bush and Blair of waging the war in March 2003 and Koizumi of supporting it. (Kyodo News)

There should be sedition charges for the lot of them, no matter which country they're in. This "international law" BS is nothing less, or other, than an attempt to impose the UN as a world government.

Any nation with an interest in self-preservation should be looking to put these guys away for a long time.

An old, Vietnam War idea that these clowns have resurrected to recapture their youth. Maybe we'll get a break and they'll burn their passports, since they don't have any draft cards handy this time around.

I hope that Saddam's trial eclipses all this trash and the horror is understood by all.
