It must take a pretty intense fire to get burned, given todays fire suits and helmets.

Well, in a sport like that, I guess practice in crashing and burning is important too.

During a 30-minute practice, Earnhardt's Chevrolet Corvette C5-R spun and hit a barrier in turn eight of the road racing track, catching fire. My Corvette caught fire after a man ran over the rear end of it with his high rise truck. Although I was injured, the paramedics got me out and I didn't get burned. I pray that he will be OK.

My insensitive comment of the day:
I heard he was shilling for Fahrenheit 911, but come on... he's taking it a little too far.

We were taught in church today that prayers don't go up. They go out. Because we believe that God is all around us, and that God isn't ever far away.
Anyways..thats my spiel for the day.

I, too, pray that he will be ok!

Prayers for jr. and the family.
Seems he's ok, but he's gonna suffer some major pain.

The car went up in a heck of fireball after it stopped. I doubt if that Corvette will ever see the track again.
