There is a large fire in the Santa Clarita Area of Los Angeles County....if you are in SoCal, that is the very large smoke clouds to the north.

Too many cowboys up there, I guess.

I can see fresh billowing black smoke coming from behind the last set of hills before the desert begins.

Northbound backup traffic on Sima Road. They are having some problems getting through. Also heard someone just say something like "... from Nevada." Wonder if this is a new FF division from our neighbors checking in to help out?

That must have been evacuees headed down Cima Mesa Road. It's a horseshoe and hits 138 twice as a U-shape. There are some pricey homes up there. If it's a northbound clog, it's people trying to head off the mountain. Scary.

Cima Rd...

I think the I15 only has one lane open now.

I shouldn't say Cima Mesa does.. the area is accessible via horseshoe-shaped roads. I can't remember the name of them all right now. 106th Street East is one that leads down to the town of Littlerock, if you hear that. Also one of them is named Longview Rd.

Going to say a quick prayer for rain. Where's Art Bell with that weather changing project conspiracy when we need him?

Wish this map had more surface detail.

Has anybody mentioned the water level in the reservoir? (I imagine it's not very high..)

Not the chem trails conspiracy, the weather changing research project way up North. There's a government online site somewhere if I could just recall the name.

I-15 Propane tank on the motorhome just blew up. Vegetation fire resulted. The motorhome was on fire before the propane tank blew.

Delay responding because of heavy traffic. This is not good. Fully involved fire travel trailer (assume not a motor home on I-15) with vegetation on fire.
