A bumper sticker being circulated in Louisville that reads "Kerry is bin Laden's Man/Bush is Mine" was applauded by a Republican leader yesterday but decried by Democrats.
Jack Richardson IV, chairman of the Jefferson County GOP, said he didn't know the bumper sticker's origins, but agreed with its message.
"If bin Laden could vote based on Kerry's voting record in the Senate -- where he has decimated our national security and defense -- is there anybody that can honestly say bin Laden wouldn't prefer Kerry over Bush? Of course he would," Richardson said in a telephone interview.
A handful of demonstrators gathered yesterday afternoon outside the Jefferson County GOP headquarters to protest the sticker.
ANYONE KNOW WHERE I COULD FIND THIS BUMPERSTICKER?
THANKS!
Small correction, hutch - you forgot to say:
"I'm a Republican", and I believe that bumper sticker slogan has a basis in fact...
Personally, as a "lifeling conservative, and Bush supporter in 2000", I feel the bumper stickers are pretty f'n funny.
ok, here's a few "ideas" for you:
Flipper is a two-faced liar whose only predictable behavior is his inability to publicly pick a clear stance on any issue of importance and stick to it.
Flipper has a disgustingly high absentee record in the Senate.
In those votes he did bother to cast, Flipper consistently voted to hamper and weaken the defensive and intelligence-gathering resources and manpower of the United States.
Flipper has never held a real job, where success and failure are measured in concrete units of mission accomplishment, product quality, and profits vs. losses.
Flipper got out of a 14-month tour of duty after only FOUR MONTHS in Vietnam by wailing about three tiny scratches, at least one of which cannot be decisively defined as having occurred under or as a result of enemy fire. From this, he has pontificated at length on his "record" as a "combat veteran"
Flipper also has pontificated at great length about his command qualities, referring back once again to his abbreviated tour of duty in Vietnam. Interestingly enough, just about everyone who served with him over there considers him a grade-A putz who cannot be trusted with command duties.
How about, simply: "Flipper Sucks Ass"?
