What is in the Bible is NOTHING at all like what the Brits did to the Afrikaners and YES,they DID want to kill the women,children,and old people.
And Hitler,himself said that he followed the Brits' Concentration Camp plans in South Africa.
That's really difficult to believe in this day and age. We have at least 60,000 of them in Northern Virginia from Korea alone! Then there are the Salvadorans, Hondurans, Peruvians, Bolivians, Russians, Arabs (from many countries), Pakistanis and others.
Within each ethnic grouping there are both legal and illegal alien immigrants. They help each other.
Many of them bring their elderly with them!
Why Afrikaaners should be incapable of what uneducated peasants from Chiapas state do so readily is beyond my understanding. Is there some peculiarity in their thinking that prevents them from knowing when to flee for their lives?
BTW, many of us here know very well the Huguenot background of the earliest Afrikaaners. After all, we have our own Huguenot background, only our people chose to go to America first and leave Africa to the barbarians.

Here's a lesson for you ~ when you elect to transport a large body of people from one place to another, lots of them are going to die. Then, if you fence them in, many more of them will die.
That's why intelligent moral men DO NOT transport or fence up large bodies of innocent people, or disarmed POWs. Stupid men do so with the expected consequence of their actions.

Okay,so you want my relatives to illegally come here and what,live with me(cause they can't live with my daughter and s-i-l...no room)and try to get some off the books job doing whatever they can,while I homeschool the kids,the littlest of whom speaks NO English,and that's just my s-i-l's sister and her family. What about the others? I don't have the room and haven't even met all of them.You want me to financially support ALL of the members of his family and and friends who haven't gotten out yet;including his aged uncles who won't fly?
And since none of these people live on farms,though the crime is very bad in the cities,they aren't faced with losing their farms and lives just now.
Since YOU have "all the answers",why aren't YOU getting ALL of the Afrikaners out and taking care of them? And what about the blacks and the coloureds and the Indians whom the ANC Are torturing and killing? Why aren't you telling them to leave too?
Don't try to give me lessons, thank you. Rather try and study the history which you think you know so much about. So "moral" men would have killed the women and children in their homes, and not transported them to camps? Why did Hitler transport the Jews to concentration camps then?

On the other hand you seem to have some sort of problem with folks breaking the law to save their lives. I don't! In fact, Americans highly prize refugees, legal or not. We always did. An awful lot of Americans have one or more refugee ancestors.
I provided some information about how to get here. Once those folks get here, they will be free to exercise their own talents and resources to improve their situation.
I'd think your own relatives would be happy to bunk in with you a while if that meant survival. We had a local discovery of 35 Chinese living in a 4 bedroom home which proves that crowded conditions are possible.
BTW, the children of illegal aliens are ordinarily educated in the public schools without difficulty. If you think they need a bit of tutoring in English before they arrive, I'm sure that could be arranged in SA.

I can't speak for the Irish, but I can speak with some authority for the Cubans who left, never to return.
I can tell you that to an exile, the only homeland is the sea, for no other land will ever fill the place of the one they were forced to leave, and while many places may become "home", none will ever rise to the level of homeland.
The homeland that I and so many others left so long ago, does not exist any longer, or rather, it exists only in our minds, in our memories, and in our hearts; the place that is Cuba today, has no connection with the homeland that we keep alive inside us, and when we die, those of us with fading memories of the Cuba that once was, that place dies with us, and will be buried in foreign soil.
I love this nation, it gave me the gift of freedom, and welcomed so many of us when everything was taken from us, but I love that homeland that I carry deep in my heart most. We are like orphaned children whose love and gratitude for the woman who raised us like her own, is only surpassed by the love for the woman who gave us life.
Cuba, my Cuba anyway, does not exist any longer.
There is an island there, and there are mountains and rivers and beaches like there were in my homeland, but it isn't Cuba.
I understand that the Brits are not the only cruel ones, and it was war, after all. The overwhelming historical evidence is that the Afrikaner women and children were purposefully being starved and/or poisoned to death. I had to take issue with a earlier poster who claimed that the Afrikaner is British and Dutch, that's not true.
It is not so easy to get out of SA. It's not like Mexico where you can hop on a bus to the US border, and then cross on foot. Border controls are strict regarding passports, visas etc to get out of SA. Even if you can get out of SA, it is virtually impossible to get here from Africa illegally, otherwise there would have been millions of illegal Africans everywhere in the US.

Read the rest, I also visited those places and we could barley understand each other. Flemish is closer toAfrikaans than Dutch. What is your point? If people can barely understand each others language that makes them the same?? The Afrikaner has nothing in common with the Dutch, other than historic incidents more than 350 years old. And those are shared with the Germans and French too.
