Prayer Request for a Tiny Angel

I am PINGING you all tonight because we have had a tragedy in our family today.
My little sister (Renee, 33) and her husband (Kirk, 39) were expecting their first child today. Renee was induced this morning at a hospital in Grand Rapids, MI. She was having normal contractions for about three hours and then after her water was broken she began to bleed heavily. She was rushed in for an emergency C-Section and although the baby was delivered within 4 minutes she had lost too much blood for them to revive her.
My niece, little Samantha Sangsland is now in heaven and my sister and her husband are without the baby they have been proudly waiting to bring home.
Renee and Kirk are very faithful Christians and have much support from their church but I would like to ask for you all to please pray for them tonight and in the coming weeks as they plan a funeral to bury their first-born.
I am not able to comprehend this at the moment as I am too sad to be very coherent. I will be flying out to be with them in the next few days and just cannot imagine what they are facing. I cannot even imagine being able to even breathe, much less function.
We have been really busy around here, enjoying having our family back together after Dan's return from overseas and as such I have been very tardy in getting the latest prayer requests together for Logan's Miracle Room. I apologize, and ask for you to please include us in your prayers.
It is kind of late for me to be putting this thread up, so I won't be able to respond very quickly, but I wanted to get the request up ASAP.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT.

Hey Mosby, we all need prayers sometimes. It's a privilege to love and pray for a fellow brother or sister, not a chore. No need to thank anyone, we are only happy to do it! You've got other things on your mind right now. Just know that there are plenty of FReeper who really care about you and your sister and we'll keep you all in our prayers.
If you would like to give us an update in a week, a month or whatever, please do. Anything else you need, please ask!
One thing I've learned here is that FReepers have huge hearts!
Now slowly step away from the 'puter and go play with those two wonderful kids of yours! Hugs to you!

In all due respect...

U of M is one of the best in the country. It is the question everyone in this area (I'm about 15 min away from Ann Arbor) asks: "Oh, you're going in hospital? UofM??" and everyone hopes the answer is 'yes, UofM'.
Your family is in good hands there. I join the others in prayers for your sister, BIL and the baby. May God be with you all during this nervous time, and may He bless and guide the hands that care for the mom and little Alex.

Oh Smartass...
My post came out all the wrong way!
I meant that I felt funny (not you) about writing your screen-name while offering MY sympathies to you and your wife..
I will have my comment removed...
I am very sorry for this...and especially after you posted SUCH a beautiful graphic and all...
Please accept my apologies...
(I sent you a FReepmail)...

Thank for you for this
good news I just got home from a long, rather difficult, day. It is good to be reminded of the greatness of God. It is also humbling to have my rather difficult day put into a more realistic perspective.
Thank you.

There is good news regarding this post, I was trying to respond to a new post and responded to this old one it is likely that you saw the thread because I responded to it. There is an update you may want to read. You responded close to my post time the last post was hours before. The news here is much better. http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1481273/posts
