Prayer Request for a Tiny Angel

I am PINGING you all tonight because we have had a tragedy in our family today.
My little sister (Renee, 33) and her husband (Kirk, 39) were expecting their first child today. Renee was induced this morning at a hospital in Grand Rapids, MI. She was having normal contractions for about three hours and then after her water was broken she began to bleed heavily. She was rushed in for an emergency C-Section and although the baby was delivered within 4 minutes she had lost too much blood for them to revive her.
My niece, little Samantha Sangsland is now in heaven and my sister and her husband are without the baby they have been proudly waiting to bring home.
Renee and Kirk are very faithful Christians and have much support from their church but I would like to ask for you all to please pray for them tonight and in the coming weeks as they plan a funeral to bury their first-born.
I am not able to comprehend this at the moment as I am too sad to be very coherent. I will be flying out to be with them in the next few days and just cannot imagine what they are facing. I cannot even imagine being able to even breathe, much less function.
We have been really busy around here, enjoying having our family back together after Dan's return from overseas and as such I have been very tardy in getting the latest prayer requests together for Logan's Miracle Room. I apologize, and ask for you to please include us in your prayers.
It is kind of late for me to be putting this thread up, so I won't be able to respond very quickly, but I wanted to get the request up ASAP.

I am praying hard for baby Alex, Renee and Kirk. May the Lord bless them with the child they so deperately want. May He also give their doctors the wisdom to diagnose the baby's needs and the knowledge of how to fix any problems. May He guide the doctor's hands and heal Alex's heart. May He comfort Renee and Kirk and take away their burdens and give them peace of mind through this entire process. Lord, You know what joy a child can bring as You have a Son, we ask that You bring that Joy into the lives of Renee, Kirk and Alex. We ask that you bless this baby with a healed heart, so he can grow and help his parents spread Your good word. This family has already been through so much Lord, I ask that bless them with a healthy baby. In Your precious Son's name, amen.

We are all praying for your family M0sby. One little angel from this family is enough. Now they need to hear the footsteps and laughter from a baby they have wanted and treasure so much. We pray it will be so. Modern medicine is a miracle in itself. We have witnessed that through Logan.
