I've got about 800 Border Patrol agents here in Cochise County, many of them friends, and most of them wish they had never gotten folded in with Customs.

I don't doubt that at all. We have union issues out the wazzoo with this reorganization, especially with the border patrol.

The Customs folks aren't wild about this, either. With a snap of someone's fingers suddenly customs officers are supposed to know all the rules of immigration, and immigration inspectors are supposed to understand trade. It's nutty.
