Agreed. I'm not saying it would be 1000 actual attackers, I'm just saying it could very well be more than the 19-20 that it took to implement 9-11; much more. Also, let's pretend for a moment that it could be 1000 actual attackers... What if their orders were simply: Divide up into groups of 2-10 people, figure out some way to cause problems in the US, and on XX date, at XX time, make your attack. There wouldn't need to be any coordination at all. One group causes a pileup on the freeway; one group is snipers; one group blows up a gas station; one group lights a bunch of wildfires; one group holds a school hostage... etc. I shouldn't even be posting this!!!
well, let me put it this way. if they are that good, if they are able to be that self sufficient and totally autonomous down to the 2-5 man team level - we've got some serious problems, because I don't think we can detect and break up groups like that; and as I said, at that numerical level, they have no shortage of people already in the country who would be willing to go.
