HERE is a link to an old Boston Herald editorial (10/03) that discusses the fact that Joe Wilson was working for the Kerry campaign at the time the "Bush Lied" campaign was begun. Chris Lehane, the infamous campaign dirty trickster was behind the whole thing.
Please help me demand that Kerry apologize for this slanderous lie.

I'm trying to get Wilson's letter, but it's at Salon, and that's a pay site.
But it starts like this:
"I read with great surprise and consternation the Niger portion of Sens. Roberts, Bond and Hatch's additional comments to the Senate Select Intelligence Committee's Report on the U.S. Intelligence Community's Prewar Assessment on Iraq."
This is very clever of Wilson. Instead of addressing the lengthy discussion in the agreed report, he attacks Roberts "additional comments."

He may well have played a part but I do not believe he was the original plotter.
Looks as though the intent was to stop an invasion into Iraq. Someone higher up the line had to conspire this covert act. Novak seems to have asked the question that no one else was asking why would the administration send someone like Wilson to gather "INTEL".
This seems to be the point in which the outraged Joey claimed damage to his wife. Switch the focus.
