not as sad as someone trying to punish me for exercising my right as an American to speak my mind."

Amazing that these idiots think that they can say and do whatever they want and that no private citizen has the same ability to criticize them or withdraw their business from the sponsors of this trash. It is absolutely incredible that they think this has anything to do with the constitutional right to free speech.

"trying to punish me"...

Looks like it went way beyond trying. In fact it was very successful, and you ought to learn to keep your fat trap shut sometime. It might make it a little more difficult for those wascally wepublicans to figure it out. You and I both know that what you were doing was not joking, until it suddenly hit you in the money bag, that you went over the line, way over the line. Now, instead of admitting you went over the line you want to play the race card and blame it on Republicans, shame on you.

Exactly. Free speech my friends, is not an entitlement. Whoopi and her Leftist friends are hypocrites given they are the ones who insist political speech has no First Amendment protection. We're simply holding Whoopi then to that logic. Fascinating how they whine about being called on it. Then again, its one rule for them and another for the Great Unwashed. Thanks for pointing it out. Perhaps Whoopi can put that filthy motor mouth of hers to work to repeal the CFR law.

EXACTLY!!!!! That's what we have been saying all along and...that's exactly what I included in my email to SlimFast.
I called SlimFast this morning by the way and thanked them for taking the right and honorable road regarding Whoopi and her vulgar, trashy mouth which she now says was a joke. SlimFast was happy to receive my call and thanked ME for responding to their decision. The lady I spoke with said they have been receiving calls regarding the same things. So, tha's nice to call and thank them since we all wrote/called to complain. It was a good thing to do and seems SlimFast appreciates it too.

The far left libs can dish it out................ but far be it from us to ask her to take it back.......

she is history! she is history because of her own stupid lack of humor. She is history because she never even lost weight on Slim-Fast.

Im not sure if slimfast sponsored whoopi's comedy act. If she was there speaking out as a free citizen of the United States then her speech would be protected by the Constitution. To hold Slimfast accountable for her remarks-not occurring while acting as their spokesperson would, in that case be misguided.
Since I don't listen to the Kerry fundraising events, I don't know what Whoopi said. It is not uncommon, however, for comediens to make jokes about politicians. It must have been REALLY BAD however, because there was more of a fuss made about it than the liberals made of the "Girly-boy" remark made by Ahnold. Send me a link to a site that has whoopi's remarks if you know of one because I can't find one around. Thanks!
Check out what Cheney said on the floor of the Senate the other day:
In a chance encounter in the Senate, where the vice president is sometimes the presiding officer, Cheney reacted to a face-to-face meeting with Democratic senator Patrick Leahy of Vermont, who had criticized him about his ties to the Halliburton Company, Cheney's former employer. Cheney told the senator to go "f--- yourself" as he stalked off in indignation. So much for the president's pledge to bring about "a return to civility" to Washington.
I copied this from the website; Thewashingtonspectator.com .
It seems that the liberal media is always trying to make us look bad.
