The NAACP needs a name change

For decades, many conspiracy theories originated on the political right - from fluoridation is a Communist plot to the Council on Foreign Relations is a front for the creation of one world government to the Clintons being drug dealers and witness killers.

Now the political left is having a go at conspiracies because, as with the right, that keeps theorizers from having to address the real issues or the flaws in their thinking.

Take the latest gathering in Philadelphia of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People. It resembled an opening act for the Democratic National Convention and revealed how this once-great organization has been seduced by the conspiracy muse.

The NAACP bills itself "nonpartisan" so that it might continue to enjoy the fruits of its tax-exempt status, but the rhetoric from its leaders is outrageously partisan. Coming from the mouths of virtually any other tax-exempt group, the IRS would promptly and properly yank its exemption.

1. fluoridation is not a Communist plot. It may or may not be a good idea, but it is well intended.

2. The Council on Foreign Relations is a front for the creation of one world government. However, they are not so all-powerful as they are sometimes portrayed.

3. The Clintons are drug dealers and witness killers, period.

Why do conservative commentators always have to throw the enemy a bone when they have done nothing to deserve it? Clinton is a rapist, a murderer, a close associate with drug smugglers, and a traitor. Why pretend otherwise, just because our media will never investigate him and our justice system will never indict him?

NAAAA, it wouldn't work, huh?

"You want to come join our nonprofit organization?"
"NAAAA... I'll pass."

They are not all black people. That is why they keep the name colored because some liberal whites and hispanics are apart of their ranks.

If you yank their tax-exempt status, its race riots out the whazooo!

Of course, the solution to this is simple (and even more correct): eliminate tax-exemptions from ALL organizations.

The NAACP needs a name change

Someone needs to ask Jesse and Al and ask for their advice. Are these folks "negroe," "colored," "black," "brown," or "African Americans"? Every decade it seems there is a new expression, or label. I'm confused. IMOHO

I could have sworn "colored" was offensive".

In fact, I seem to recall that only one "color" (although shades may vary) is allowed in the organization.

Is this the organization that takes the money from donors
and claims they are tax-empt as a non-profit org.? Is it
the org. that, after Bush spoke in 2,000, they put out
a commercial of the chain dragging behind p-up truck, that
indirectly was a hit piece on Bush?..that their leader
accused Pres. Bush of waging racial warfare against blacks(President has more blacks in leadership role in history)? Julian Bond saying ...GOP idea of equal rights is the
America flag flying side by side..with the Confederate swastica.... and they go on and on....but they still expect
the President to show up and be a human pinata...they are
all hypocrits as this President is more caring for them than any other President since Abe Lincoln. Jake
