Clinton Urges Kerry to Avoid 'Cultural' Issues

Bill Clinton has warned Senator John Kerry, the presumptive Democrat presidential nominee, to counter Republican efforts to turn this year's election into a debate on gay marriage and other "cultural issues" such as gun control and abortion.

In an interview with the Financial Times, the former US president urged Senator Kerry to fight a values-based campaign focused on health, education and crime.

If he stayed on that ground, Mr Kerry could win by "quite a nice margin".

Democrats will implode on themselves within a month. President Bush will speak to the Urban League about real issues putting a wedge between real groups and propaganda groups(NAACP). I don't think everyone there will agree with President Bush but just the fact he goes will show respect absent propaganda. If the first challenge of Same sex marriage gets to a US District court, before the election, the Democrats will be sweating bullets because they let a majority of American's down. Kerry and Edwards shouldn't even comment on it because they didn't even take the time to vote on the matter, regardless what the outcome was. The people deserve their voice heard one way or another. They shouldn't even be able to discuss any issue they missed votes on because taxpayers are paying them to vote not campaign. How is Kerry/Edwards really looking out for their public? Making promises they can't keep and/or not voting when it counts? I heard one Democrat state the Constitutional Amendment against Same Sex Marriage was defeated by a majority? It may have been a majority if Kerry/Edwards voted. If they had voted there would have been a chance to kill the amendment permanently.

Is the SEARCH FUNCTION broke?

I looked for it with the title as I posted it, and I found nothing.

BTW: It should be, "Is the SEARCH FUNCTION brokeN?"

I'm sorry to have made this mistake; but I did try. :D

Broken; Past participle of break
Broke; Past tense of break

Take your pick, but I believe I was correct - something about dangling participles as I recall.

NOTE: I'm not, or was an English Major -- but I did drive past a Holiday Inn Express yesterday. And I was just funnin with ya anyway.

How about "I'm not Bush." It's not much of a winning strategy, but it's all he has.
