CNN) -- Weight loss product manufacturer Slim-Fast announced Wednesday it had dropped Whoopi Goldberg as its spokeswoman, following a controversy over sexually explicit comments she made last week at a fund-raiser in New York for presumptive Democratic nominee Sen. John Kerry.

Maybe they can feature Bill Clinton trading Big Mac's for Slim-Fast. That should help push along the dream of an America where nobody has the right to get fat.

The difference there is that those entertainers are not actively using those jokes to promote a candidate for President.
