How really serious can any American think the feds are about stopping terrorists rather than engaging in the usual inside the beltway games and pork barrel operations when whiny socialist Minetta is kept on as Sec of Transportation and large numbers of Arabs continue to enter the US. The lives of American citizens are daily put at additional risk due to a government that is so mired in bureaucratic routine, politics as usual, and pc concerns that it cannot really take the sort of actions to truly combat potential terrorist action on the soil of the US.

I recently participated in a Dept. of Transportation telephone survey that focused on seatbelt usage and public service announcements for same. The questions seemed trivial, but I wanted to do my part. Before hanging up I asked the gentleman to give Norm Minetta my regards. He replied, "Who?"

I plan to forward this thread to Sec. Minetta. There are valid concerns and suggestions throughout.
