The only persons speaking about it, congressionally, are Charles Rangle D-N.Y. and John Conyers, D-Mich. They are pushing this because they feel there are a disporpotionate number of African-Americans serving now.

That's because Rangle and Conyers wouldn't know a soldier or sailor if one stomped their ass.

Say what you wish about Rangel and Conyers (especially Conyers) but remember one thing - Rangel was awarded the PH and Bronze Star during the Korean Conflict. I disagree with much of what he has to say and all of what Conyers has to say but Rangel probably knows a few things about soldiers.
