I did a search and didn't see anyone else post it. So here it is. Just received this from Slim-Fast:
Dear Hildy Linn ,
Thank you for contacting us recently about our use of Whoopi Goldberg, specifically regarding her remarks made at the recent fundraiser at Radio City Music Hall. The manner in which Ms. Goldberg chose to express her personal beliefs at this event do not reflect the views and values of Slim·Fast Foods Company.
Slim·Fast selected Whoopi Goldberg as its spokesperson because of her commitment to losing weight, which we applaud.
We are disappointed by the manner in which Ms. Goldberg chose to express herself and sincerely regret that her recent remarks offended you. Advertisements featuring Ms. Goldberg will no longer be on air.
We appreciate you sharing your views with us and we hope you will continue to use Slim·Fast as your partner in healthy weight management.
Sincerely,
Shelby Mahan

In the spirit of weight loss, let's trim it down to only the stuff that matters:
I sent 'em a thank-you note.
Hey, SlimFast deserves major kudos for having the gumption to dump a big witless Hollywienie!
The job is far from over. This is just a beginning of all valued citizens regaining our country and respect for the highest office in the world, The President. As I recall there was others at this fund raiser that require our attention. Liberal networks, lying newspapers, propagandist entertainers/filmmakers and all liberal propagandist groups need to be aware of our mission.
"I've spent most of my professional life working with people like this and that is exactly what they think"
Like mambers of the news media that my close relatives deal with on a daily basis. These are people who live within a little, insulated bubble of extreme liberalism who truly believe that they represent the moderate view. "Everyone I know believes the way I do, therefore EVERYONE ELSE must believe the same." That is how they can be truly shocked and defend their extremist views so self-righteously.
Way to go FREEPERS!! I am so proud!!
Good for them!
THAT was QUICK. Wow. Good work everybody!!!!
I wrote to them too, but did not receive a reply. If this is true, I will go out and buy a case of Slim-Fast.
KMart certainly learned. Any local KMart manager will admit Rosie ODonut hurt them badly. I have been back 3 or 4 times in these 4 years and only to take someone shopping who didn't have a car. FMCDH
Wow! Way to go!!! Giant thumbs up to the management!
Once again FR is way out in front on this one. A day of head of the media - and likely feeding them at times.
Considering her remarks about certain parts of her anatomy and that she has been dumped by Slim-Fast, isn't this ad just a bit more than ironic.
Too Funny!!!
<< Whoopie's Gone... >>
Whoopie.
I think I can hear Tim Robbins saying that a chill wind blows. No, Tim, you and Whoopi blow.
<< I'm a big loser. >>
Yep.
Exactly!
No talking bad about Slim-Fast. They did the right thing here. Cut them a break.
