I've shot TEC-9s. They're one of the safest guns to have in criminal hands, actually - you can't aim them and they jam constantly. I've yet to see a serious shooter with one, but you do see some dorks on occasion. Like this guy:

Yeah. Chuckie Schumer does his Don Johnson imitation. Pathetic.

Let's see here. You have to be a law abiding citizen in order to get a concealed weapons permit. Law abiding = probably not inclined to murder people and/or never murdred anybody. On the other hand, those un-law-abiding people who are inclined to murder are going to do so if they have a concealed weapons permit or not. In fact they will do so if they have a *gun* or not. They could have concealed rope, concealed baseball bat, concealed knife.

It's all about sound bites and hysteria. These people are getting pretty desperate.

In 35 states, the laws governing citizens carrying concealed weapons have been loosened to a ridiculous standard, with police forced to issue concealed handgun permits to virtually anyone who does not have a felony conviction.

I am unaware of any state that does not have a carve-out for the mentally unstable as well, but this is merely splitting hairs.

In many of those states, hidden handguns are allowed in public places like restaurants, bars, sports arenas, supermarkets and even places of worship.

In all states, in all of those places, innocent people have been assaulted, raped, or killed by criminals. The reason that a lawful citizen is allowed to carry a weapon on their person goes beyond the Constitutional 2nd Amendment; it is the fundamental right of self-defense that any civilized culture (even the UN) recognizes.

John Kerry believes that, by participating in hunting (poorly) and posing as a trap shooter (unsafely), he is demonstrating an "understanding" of the Right to Keep and Bear Arms. In doing so, he demonstrates a profoundly shallow understanding of what is considered the most primal of all human rights.

Concealed Assault Weapons in Public Places

I tried to make my AR-15 into my concealed carry piece, but I found the Milt Sparks Inside the Waistband holster for it to be uncomfortable.

Thes folks are very stupid.

-- A Georgia woman was arrested after pointing her concealed handgun at another mother during an argument over their eleven- year-old daughter's basketball game at school;

-- A Michigan man was arrested for threatening to shoot two other men with his concealed handgun during a dispute over clearing trash off his property;

-- A Virginia man was arrested for carrying a concealed handgun into an elementary school, where it was left in an unattended backpack in the classroom until a teacher noticed it;

-- An Alabama man accidentally shot himself and a bystander in a movie theater showing "102 Dalmatians," when the concealed handgun fell out of his pocket;

-- A Pennsylvania man shot and killed a neighbor with a concealed handgun during an argument over where to dump snow that was being shoveled off the property.

$20 says these incidents cannot be documented.
