Probably because of what MamaTexan mentioned in Post #12 above ... Yea, and he and Ed-wads were the only 2 missed votes on the defense of marriage amendment today.
If Kerry/Edwards won't defend marriage, how can anyone expect them to defend our country?
After all, you don't want the "public" to pay too much attention to all the "work" these guys are doing for them on The Hill. Unless they voted on the bill before they didn't vote on it ...
