I found the "pass the puck" remark interesting as well.

Miss Marple has pointed out several times that Kerry doesn't seem to engage in competitive games. Only biking, skiing, etc, where he doesn't have to "score" against someone. I was reading Golf Digest this week, and apparentely Kerry used to golf quite a bit more than he has in the past few years. He had a handicap at a club up to about 3 years ago, but they only listed about 2 times that he had played golf in the last 2 years.
