In a startling development... the British have decided that another terrorist state needed regime change. Then sent the queens guard into Paris today to seize the capitol. A British Soldier was stated as saying; "This was Bloody easy, they gave up quicker then at any other time in history." A spokesman for Britain was quoted as saying; "The French military was last seen swimming south toward Morocco, the British Navy has been given the permission to fire at will."

Of course, the original reason for the red coats was they did not show the blood from wounds as markedly as other colors.

Excuse me sir I think were going to have to detain you for excessive chumming on a thread. The francophobes will be on this in a New York minute.

The story is that the French once captured a British officer. They asked him why he wore a red coat. He replied that it was to cover the sight of blood, so as to preserve the troop's morale. Since that time, the French officers have worn brown pants.

Why do the French line their streets with trees?

The British prefer to march in the shade.

The British had to lead the parade because the French couldn't find a real soldier anywhere within their borders.

Oh come now... After all the help the French gave you in your War of Independence, surely you could find a few nice things to say?

(I'm not holding my breath)
