Not a red herring at all. Simply pointing out the fact that bigots in the 1950s engaged in the same sort of paranoia that bigots today engage in.

Someone who opposes the NEA and homosexual activist agenda of sexualizing children and introducing them to the "lifestyle" at a young age--even over the objections of the parents--is no paranoid bigot.

Such opposition is evidence of a sober, rational and sound mind.

Not a red herring at all

Either you are honestly confused or are purposely attempting to blur distinctions in order to further an agenda. My guess is the later.

An effort to equate the heritable trait of skin color with the mental illnesses of pederasty / homosexuality is clearly a diversion, and therefore a classic red herring.

Simply pointing out the fact that bigots in the 1950s engaged in the same sort of paranoia that bigots today engage in.

Ah yes, from the red herring to the ad hominem. Someone has taught you well.

But no matter how many invectives you may sling into the mix, skin color and improper socialization are in no way equatable.
