I too call BS. Within 2 miles of my house there are 3, count them, 5 McDonalds. The nearest adult bookstore is greater than 15 miles away.

Tailgunner, where is the evidence to backup this outrageous claim that Adult Bookstores outnumber McDonalds by 3 to 1?

I also just pulled out the Raleigh yellow pages. Numer of adult bookstores... 9. Number of McDonalds... 31 So, in the Raleigh area, McDonalds have an greater than 3 to 1 advantage. Thus, the rest of the country has to have a greater than 9 to 1 advantage for adult bookstores for the claim to be true.

I am willing to be every dollar I have, and all my financial assets that the claim of adult bookstores outnumbering McDonalds by greater than 3 to 1 is an absolute and outright lie. Are you willing to stake your financial assets that the claim is true Tailgunner?

That claim may be a Clintonian "it depends on what the meaning of 'is' is" bit of weaseling. For example, if the person making the claim thinks that every convenience store that has "adult" magazines for sale is an "adult bookstore," then there might well be more of them than McDonalds.
