I shouldn't have to post this, but it seems to come up on every thread on this topic, totally ignored by the puritains, so... NO ONE on these threads has ever:
- Suggested that kiddie porn or bestiality should be legal, or anything other than the abomination that they are;
- Suggested that minor children should either have access to, or participate in, pornography;
- Expressed any toleration for coercion of porn actors or participants in it;
- Suggested that those subject to such coercion or slavery have no recourse in law;
- Recommended that porn be jammed down the throat of ANYONE unwilling to watch it;
What we HAVE said is that pornography, produced, acted in, and viewed by consenting adults is not something the law should be concerned with, especially on a federal level, and most particularly when it is produced and viewed in PRIVATE.

Conservatives pride ourselves on using logic, fact, and reason in our arguments to counter Liberal emotionalism. Such emotionalism is correctly a sign of a lack of such logic, fact, and reason. It would seem that some "conservatives" also resort to it when their supply of such things is found wanting, and many even use the same words.
If all you've got to offer is such claptrap, then I suggest you find a different place for it.

Blaming the actions of an evil individual on porn is exactly the same as blaming a gun for the action of a shooter. Best to ban guns instead of attacking the evil people committing violent crimes with guns.
