Prostitution laws do not cover the making of pornography, as you well know.I believe they do, but the law is not being enforced. It was in the past, especially in the early days of the porn industry.

I believe they do, but the law is not being enforced. Prostitution is a local crime. The enforcement of the laws against it fall on local police. The feds have no roll in the matter. And in places where porn is a huge industry, such as in the valley, the laws against prostitution do not include acting in porn.
