The NAACLP are the Le Pew of American politics. I can understand why President Bush doesn't want to snuggle up next to them. Unlike the editors of the Los Angeles Times, the New York Daily News does get why the President refuses to grace them with the honor of his presence.

They are, but lately their editorials have been very favorable towards President Bush.

I guess common sense does break through to some of them eventually.

Laura Ingraham read a piece from a(n) 1970's piece on her show. It was an editorial from the News, circa. 1970(ish), when Kerrey testified before Congress. I tried to find it on her site with no luck. Did anyone else hear this?

Rush refers to them as the NAALCP. I think it is more accurate to refer to this organization as the NAACPVD: National Association for Assuring Colored People Vote Democrat.

Except I think if I say "colored people" I will be declared a racist.
