Beating leads officers to weapons

NOONDAY - Three people with ties to a white supremacist group were taken into custody Monday after they allegedly robbed and beat a man with a baseball bat.

Authorities responding to the reported beating were given consent by the suspects to enter their mobile home off Lakeway Harbor Drive.

Once inside the home, which was decorated with Nazi SS insignias and mementos, lawmen located not only the bloodied bat, but a stash of loaded weapons, ammunition, bags of drugs and a pit bull with no ears.

The exterior was outfitted with makeshift surveillance cameras, capturing footage for display on a large living room TV set.

"When we came to the residence to do a follow-up, they told us to come on in," said Frank Creath, Precinct 2 constable. "We did."

Lawmen spoke with the occupants, who acknowledged the presence of guns in the house.

"For officer safety, we walked through the house and observed a box filled with shotgun shells," Creath said. "A convicted felon can't have shotgun shells and we knew the homeowner was on parole."

Officers were acquainted with the homeowner, having arrested him several years ago for making unauthorized purchases on a neighbor's credit card.

The constable said the suspects are affiliated with a group called the Arian Brotherhood, which reportedly has a growing presence in some areas of East Texas.

The suspects' identities are being withheld pending arraignment.

"We looked for the weapons we were told were in the house," Creath said. "We were also given a written statement that guns were absolutely in the house. We started looking for them and found marijuana and methamphetamine."

Under a nightstand, officers found two loaded 9 mm-automatic pistols with extra ammunition.

Several large knives, a sword, syringes, drug paraphernalia and a sawed-off shotgun were located in other areas of the home.

"Consequently, we searched a vehicle because that's what they were in when the assault was committed," Creath said. "That's where we found a large amount, several hundred rounds, of shotgun and pistol ammunition."

Lawmen also recovered a device used to fake the results of urine tests, along with a $150 purchase receipt.

"We've been telling his parole officers for months that he was involved with drugs," the constable said. "His tests were always clean."

Several charges, including illegal drug and weapons possession are pending, officials said.

As of late Monday, all three suspects were still being interviewed.

Officers collected the drugs, weapons and a bloody bat as evidence. A late-model Trans Am also was seized to pursue asset forfeiture procedures.

A family acquaintance picked up the maimed pit bull.

When asked how the animal was injured, the suspect claimed he cut the dog's ears off so that it would appear tough, the constable said.

This guys will never competete with the countless brutal crimes, driver by's, etc that are being commited by the hundreds of thousands of organized, minority gang members that now exist in every single major city in our country. This doesn't even include the thousands upon thousands of organized illegal alien gang members entering our country *illegally*, bring in literally *tons* of illegal drugs, weapons, and causing epic criminal and social chaos.....

The law busts speed freaks by the bushel out here and occasionally they snag a few nazi-klan variants.

There's as much of an illegal alien labor problem here in east Texas there is in Dallas.

Why work for teenager wages when you can start up a speed lab?

As a Mountaineer living in Texas, I can tell you you're dead-on. Troubling these slags are everywhere; can't help wondering why the "Vanguard of the Master Race" seem to gravitate to trailer parks and meth use and manufacture, regardless of their geography.

Violent, toothless, savages, the lot of them, and the sooner they blow themselves to valhalla, the better.

I agree, but a roach is a roach, and all should be squished when found.

Seem to remember some white supremacists being arrested with some cyanide and explosives in Noonday. Do you recall that?

Yes, but I don't have a link at hand.

That person was recently convicted and incarcerated.

The cops find'em whenever their pit bull gnaws on a passing eight year old or their speed lab combusts.

Their lives are consumed by destruction so maybe that's why the nazis are so appealing.

East Texas has always been thought of as our little piece of Appalachia.

Arian = Aryan

Wonder who misspelled it - the
group or the newspaper?
