MR. THOMAS: There's one other base here, the media. Let's talk a little media bias here. The media, I think, wants Kerry to win and I think they're going to portray Kerry and Edwards I'm talking about the establishment media, not Fox. They're going to portray Kerry and Edwards as being young and dynamic and optimistic and there's going to be this glow about them, collective glow, the two of them, that's going to be worth maybe 15 points.

The Sunshine Boys?! Sounds like the name of a homosexual novel.

Every shot of these fairies never show their wives. One is a fat wide-ass Hitlery type; the other looks like she just bit a piece of lemon when Botox Man wants to smootch her.
This is, without a doubt, the most pathetic campaign I've seen since I first voted in a Presidentail election (I voted for Barry AuH2o in 1964).
Botox, skiis, wakeboards, bicycles, guitars, smootches, hugs, kisses, AWOL voting records in the Senate, ugly, dopey spouses, lies, hypocracy, hate America supporters... where do I end this rant?
Thanks for your forebearance. Now I feel better.

Why is Edward on the front of Kerry in the cover??? It's customary for the bride to stand in front of the groom in wedding pictures.

Here's something the mainstream liberal newsrooms can't do anything about - - TV ads.
This one is AWESOME! It takes a minute to load (if you have cable modem) but it is WELL WORTH IT!
Check this out (Click on the link and just wait about 30 seconds. You may be prompted for additional "quick time" software. If you are, click 'okay' and that download takes about 3 seconds):

I caught that ad on local TV today. I do like his guts. Vernon Robinson has led a very aggressive campaign here. Primary is next Tuesday.

Yeah, I heard the same thing... but was he really in Vietnam? I heard we was in a boat floating around Vietnam for a few months, but then he sailed away and joined the enemy...

I think he's overestimating the waning power of the old media by about an order of magnitude...If they have such a diminished role, then why do we make such a fuss about them and their agenda?
To: Lancey Howard
That ad is so refreshing. Thanks.

It appears as though Newsweek has put Edwards in front of Kerry on the cover. Now, why would that be?
Could it be because Lurch scares small children and makes normal people get the creeps?
To: Paleo Conservative
Not that there's anything wrong with that. Sly reference to Seinfeld episode duly noted... ;-)

Here's the photo cover of Time when Bush announced Cheney would be his running mate:
Here's the photo when Gore announced Lieberman:
Dole/Kemp rated a cover in 1996 (note the bad shading):
1992 was a treasure trove. Here's the glowing Clinton/Gore cover:
There were plenty of Perot covers. The Clinton covers were amazing, though. They clearly hyped him.
1988 was a joy. Here's Bush/Quayle:
Dukakis/Bentson:

I don't know why they would want to kill the golden goose. Think about it, if they didn't have Bush to kick around what would they then spend their time doing, ripping Kerry? Not likely
