Why would he object to anyone gaining wisdom and leaving those who have held them in bondage for over 40 years? He should be happy for them! Is this guy some sort of sadist?

I see attacks such as this as a sure sign that they are worried about a few percent of black voters getting off the reservation. If just 30% of black americans vote republican, there won't be another white, liberal democrat politician elected on a statewide or national level anywhere in the country except a few small, isolated marxist enclaves.

Can't help but wonder.....When MLK gave his "I have a dream" speech....Didn't he speak of people not looking at the color of a person's skin, but looking at their value as a human being.....Isn't that what "W" is doing? ie: Condi, Paige, Powell....? WHo is always bringing up race and expecting different treatment because of the color of skin? Some people truly just don't get it!

You are so right my friend. The Prez received 8% of the black vote in 2000. If he can push that up to 15% this time, turn out the lights; the party's over. When he ran for reelection of Gov. of Texas, he rec'd over 30% of the black vote.

I must give the NAACP leadership this much credit however. The aren't using the terms "Uncle Tom" or "Oreo" anymore. Racism is getting sophisticated.
