Regarding the Democrat protest, it would be interesting to see how many of them actually show up. Regarding the Republican protest, time for HCRP to get a "heads-up".
Updates later....

the Bush Administration's wars in Afghanistan and Iraq; its crimes against the peoples of Palestine, Venezuela, Haiti, and other countries; its support for corporate-led globalization; its reactionary assault on workers, immigrants, communities of color, women, gay/lesbian/bisexual/transgendered people; its attack on basic democratic rights; its wanton destruction of the natural environment, and much more.
Well, as they say, "It's a start.".

On Brit Hume's Special Report tonight, there was a brief segment on Dem activists advocating rubbing themselves down with gun powder and situating themselves in the subway and places near Madison Square Garden, so they would throw off bomb sniffing dogs and create havoc and possibly disrupt the convention.
Nothing on it on the FOX website.
I hope NY Freepers are ready for this....

I'm sorry... but I think we should be doing everything we can to encourage the "progressive" neo-Marxist cadre of Kerry/Edwards voters to share their true opinions/motivations/schemes.

"Only a mass movement of workers and oppressed people can achieve these goals. And such a movement should denounce Kerry and the Democratic Party as forcefully as it does Bush and the Republican Party. Independent working class political action is a vital prerequisite for achieving these goals and for building the kind of movement which can eventually abolish capitalism and build the foundations of a new socialist society." Interesting...wonder if this dude supports Nader?!
Thanks fer posting this...we need to know what we're dealing with here, and it seems that PURE SOCIALISM is the Radical Left's aim...who'd a thunk it?!

Only a mass movement of workers and oppressed people can achieve these goals. I wish for these people a taste of what true poverty and oppression is. They have no idea. Let them live in China, Algeria, Zimbabwe, or Syria.
These people live in the most prosperous and free country in the world, yet they complain about poverty and oppression.

Independent working class political action is a vital prerequisite for achieving these goals and for building the kind of movement which can eventually abolish capitalism and build the foundations of a new socialist society. I'd like to ask the Communist Party USA, what is your plan for those of us who won't agree to go along with your socialist vision of the future? I'm a bit concerned because I've seen what happened to those who have opposed it before.

Brief Report From the "DNC Protest"
-------------------------------------------- I went to the socialists' protest at DNC headquarters today for observation purposes only between 2:00pm - 2:30pm. About fifteen people showed up. While the e-mails stated they were going to protest policies of the democratic party, I didn't see any signs that criticized the DNC. The signs were primarily "anti-Israel", "anti-war", "anti-capitalist", and "anti-colonization". I did notice one sign that mentioned a radical left-wing minor party (don't recall the party name, but it wasn't the Green party). The crowd was larger than I anticipated (expected 10 or less). I didn't notice any of the typical "anti-Bush" or "anti-GOP" signs, but since the democrats were not mentioned by name on the protest materials, looks like a half-hearted attempt to actually protest democrats. When they protest the local RNC office ahead of their national convention, I anticipate a larger group. I haven't seen anything in the Houston Chronical as of 8:30 pm this evening.
