Whatever they say, they are not really talking about rights. They are talking about the privilege of employers paying for benefits. I am no fan of government ordered benefits. If an employer has the means and the inclination to offer benefits to gay couples then that's great. In fact, the big companies (which are supposed to be the cornerstone of the vrwc) offer partner benefits. It's the small business that gets hosed.
Wouldn't it be healthier for people to do what they think is right and not rely on others to pay for those decisions?

Gay activists use these arguments to create 'reasonableness' and 'sympathy' for their cause, but what they are REALLY after is the official approval of the government of the US that same-sex sexual behavior is "normal."
Our already super-saturated-with-sexual-images children will be taught that attraction to the same or opposite sex is immaterial and equivalent. Parents who try not to teach this message will be accused of hate speech.
This will be very destructive to the normal development of the next generation of citizens. The homosexual lobby Wants to convince the very young that same-sex sex is good.
