I believe that Ghazi al-Yawer is a Sunni...might carry more weight with the Sunni triangle!

I just heard on the radio that part of the "Amnesty" that Al-Yawer is offering the "insurgents" is that any of them who have killed less than ten Americans (who's keeping score over there, anyway?) will be welcomed back into the fold with open arms, since the killings were "justified" since the coallition has been "occupying" Iraq.

What's up with that - does anybody have a clue?

And just who's side is this guy on, anyway?

How many of these "justified", pardoned, and repatriated Jihaddists will now become integral members of the Iraqi "self defense" or Police forces?

Will they presume to be justified in taking more potshots at any coallition troops or "Infidel" Contractors they run accross (or set roadblocks up for) in the course of their duties in order to hasten our departure (one way or another)?

Will that Iraqi Policeman pulling you over want to give you a ticket for a headlight out, or hack your head off with a dull schimitar for being an infidel?

And how long will it be before Al Yawer "requests" that all US forces get OUT of Iraq PDQ, so that they can get on with their inturrupted civil/tribal wars and preparing more Martyrs to send out to kill Jews and Americans in our homelands?

I'll give it about a week. You?

And if our forces hesitate in accomidating such a "request", I suppose that we will again be viewed as unwelcome "occupiers", and thereby justify the Iraqi forces we just trained and equipped to turn on us.

Won't that be just dilly?
