MOVEON.ORG STILL HOME TO BUSH/HITLER AD; SHORT STILL ON SERVERS
Mon Jul 12 2004 10:56:46 ET
**Exclusive**
Bush Haters worldwide are still watching the famed 'Bush is Nazi' add on MOVEON.ORG -- despite repeated claims by the site's founders the short had been removed more than six months ago!
As of Monday morning [11 am Eastern] -- the ad was still carried on MOVEON's website -- under the curious file name "renamed.again.renamed.mov.FKbxnT3hzaHCcOR7vWvRYmZpbGUtMTM4OQ--.mpg"
The ad shows images of Bush with text saying, "God told me to strike at al-Qaida," before turning to images of Hitler with the words, "And then He instructed me to strike at Saddam." The ad ends with the words, "sound familiar?" on a black and white screen.
Last year, MOVEONE Executive Director Eli Parser claimed the ad was promptly taken off the Internet after its submission, as part of a contest, by a member of the public.
DRUDGE presents a direct current MOVEON link to the ad:

Did we really expect liberals to keep their word? Or tell the truth, even?
Clearly they want the ad downloaded. So why doesn't someone write a shell to download the video, delete it, and download it again. Then run that script on a bunch of systems.
I'm sure Moveon.org would appreciate that :)
Just watched it. It's there, at moveon.org. They lied. The end.
That address wasn't typed by accident, and since someone "found" that unusual of a name, it was most likely sent to them.
In other words, Move On hasn't removed the file from the Internet, and they're still promoting it. They're just trying to obscure it from the public and search engines.
Joe Stallings, official spokesperson for MoveOn.org, claimed it was a clerical over site and that any use of Hitler's image did not reflect the views of founder Jorge Soros.
I think it is ironic that a site named "MoveOn" just can't seem to.
I think the slimes at moveon removed the file, well probably just renamed it, and moved it somewhere else, since the download doesn't work as of 11:50AM EST.
No doubt they just renamed it.
But here's the lesson, moveon- there are spies in your ranks. They will tell Drudge and right wing media what you're doing. You don't know who they are, and you'll never know. Enjoy!
