Here's a hint: being born again doesn't equate to being a prude or a wuss.

Sure it does. Always going off about the "evils of the flesh". Maybe I've just been exposed to too many fire and brimstone Southern Baptist types. No pun intended...

I'm not condoning every fire & brimstome comment you've ever heard. But I can say that fire & brimstome So. Baptist types are nothin' in comparison to actual fire & brimstome awaiting the majority of folks.

Some folks who displayed amazing wisdom in their words conveyed that there indeed was some fire awaitin' folks beyond this life. One such person whose initials were JC once said, "wide is the road that leads to destruction and narrow is the way that leads to life." He also told a story of a certain rich man who "died and was buried. In hell, where he was in torment...I am in agony in this fire." (Dr. Luke)

So there was a certain fire & brimstome component to JC's own words.

When my kids were younger, I told them that the stove, oven, and BBQ were each hot for a reason. But you can always write that off as the actions of a reactionary, fire & brimstome parent, eh?
