I had a few beers with some leos of various agencies last week. We talked at length about the upcoming DNC convention. They were quite concerned about the black bloc "anarchists."

I felt obligated to point out that they were communists, the complete opposite of anarchists, and that they were mostly foreigners supported by Soros and international communism, yet they were certainly connected to the dems as well.

I also recited as much as I could remember about the tactics they had used before and what I'd heard about being planned for the convention.

I'm expecting some "must see tv" from this.

Tried to volunteer to help as well. Too old to go baby seal on the young blackshirts, but would be delighted to perch on a rooftop and do some plinking.

One thing that popped into my mind is that the really stupid protestors / anarchists travelling in from abroad for the RNC convention will have their fingerprints scanned in at US Customs and checked against the relevant databases. We have been doing so since January 5, 2004.

Consider this the American political equivalent of knowing how many soccer hoodlums for the travelling team are showing up for a match.

Some are communists, while others like Ted Rall are anarchist-socialists. Make no doubt that there are international anarchists involved in the "anti(American)war" protests.
