"Why not stay" (In the UP)

Believe me I would like to. Still, I can go the Clergue Park and look across the River St Marys every day- at the UP,with a Hortons coffee. Being 72 years old,I would be a bit of a liability. America a very hospitable country and too many newcomers think it is a free ride and have not paid any dues. (laughs). Thanks to other Yoopers advice on more visits- will do- Fayette, here we come. Cheers.

Fayette is good for a nice slow stroll. It was a Pig Iron smelting town and is mostly all there yet. The Big Springs are something..kitch-iti-ti-kipi is the name..all the thousands and thousands of gallons of crystal clear water boiling up at at you. US 2 follows the north shore of Lake Michigan and one can stop and walk the beaches. I think you know all that though.
