Just how would Bush implement his ignoring of a SCOTUS ruling, and implement it? Of course if Bush did that, beyond the enforcement apparatus ignoring his illegal orders, he would and should be impeached and convicted.

Taking this absurdity further, suppose Bush said, I hereby declare Roe v Wade null and void. Assuming he is not taken away in a strait jacket, then what? OK, so Idaho passes a law prohibiting abortion, and arrests somebody getting an abortion. The federal court issues a writ of habeas corpus. Bush somehow takes custody, and ignores that order. Splendid.

I think you are a bit of a nutter. You are, aren't you?

I was only pointing out the situation was not as clear cut as you seem to think. I do not know what is the best option a Pres. should take, but I do know the court is out of control. I do not expect you to agree. I am mindful that you support gay marriage. so when it comes to "I think you are a bit of a nutter. You are, aren't you?" I will consider the source.
