Well then.
Blair is not going to risk losing the election by providing this information to Bush. He's going to let him twist in the wind, and if he wins, he gets a mea culpa from the left, but if he loses, then we all lose.
I never liked Blair.

This is blockbuster news and explains why Blair, GWB and Cheney have held fast and hard....

Yes, maybe this was supposed to be the "October Surprise" in September???? Gosh, I hope that this is a true story.

If the Brits decide to make it public, the President can talk about it all he wants! I think the Brits are releasing info this week that CONFIRMS Saddam's efforts to purchase yellowcake in Niger, just as they had originally said, and the President alluded to in his SoTU address.

I hope you are right and I am wrong, but I stand by my point of John Bachelor Breaking News should be taken with a grain of salt. He has made some outrageous claims in the past that didn't pan out.

"...this kind of explains why Kadaffy is suddenly playing nice- he saw what happened to his buddy Sodamn Hinsane"

Also he must have assumed that some of the paperwork was captured by the US along with some of the miscreants involved.

What about the scrapped equipment that was found in Jordan and Turkey that can be traced to Iraq?
What about the huge amounts of nuclear material lifted from Iraq that torqued the UN?
This better be an October surprise document dump set for just after the convention. Otherwise, I'm going to be nuts!

My point was, that even if you ignore, or "take with a grain of salt", when John Bachelor is saying, there have already been a lot of information released in the past few years, now totally ignored by the media, naturally, about the Iraq-Libya WMD connection.

Never ending parties at Mo-mar's tent, leaving the seat up, eating up all the Doritos, leaving half eaten pizza in the frig.

This is a very serious and important thread, but your post made me laugh.

You DID get your point across, though, in a most amusing way.

If this is true why wasn't it in the Senate inquiry on pre-war intelligence?

Should read ----

If this is true why wasn't it in the Senate inquiry Pompous Political Posturing and display of an Overly Ego Centric personality traits on what was supposed to be an honest inquiry on pre-war intelligence?

This smells, why wait for September?

I wonder if my theory might have something to do with the answer to this question...

My theory?
This was a repot by consensus, and Roberts used his clout vis a vis the Judicial Memos to get consent on wording.
Now, for some odd reason, Olympia Snowe, Rockefeller and all other liberal Senators on the Intel Committee are demanding Bush appoint a CIA head NOW NOW NOW.
I know there is a connection there somewhere, but, for the life of me, I don't know what it is.

I gotta tell you my head is spinning from info overload. If this thread is accurate, nothing else in the entire election spin cycle matters. This is and could be the whole ballgame. But the truth is that unless we start hearing or reading about all this it could go unnoticed.

It takes hundreds of megawatts of electric power to run the centrifuges used to enrich uranium, if it's still done that way. Maybe laser separation doesn't use so much power; I couldn't say.

Surely our eyes in the skies would notice a huge power plant out in the desert somewhere.

That's very interesting.
When we first entered Baghdad, I thought for sure we were going to get hit with the worst - afterall, if we got that far, Saddam would lose.
But he didn't. Thank God.
