US will stay in Balkan if Democrats win in US, says Rubin

-Balkan's countries have made substantial progress, but still they are not in front of the NATO doors, Rubin said. Rubin criticizes the administration of the incumbent US President George Bush, because it has allowed the European countries, which were not effective in crisis management, to solve the situation in Balkan.

US will continue its presence in Balkan if the candidate of the Democratic Party, John Kerry, wins the presidential election, the former Spokesman of the State Department, James Rubin, said in an interview for the national radio "Voice of America".

Balkan's countries have made a substantial progress, but still they are not in front of the NATO doors, Rubin said. Rubin criticizes the administration of the incumbent US President George Bush, because it has allowed the European countries, which were not effective in crisis management, to solve the situation in Balkan.

Rubin, who is candidate for high post if John Kerry wins the elections, announced that John Kerry will be involved in the Balkan issue, because it is in the interest of the United States.

"Rubin criticizes the administration of the incumbent US President George Bush, because it has allowed the European countries, which were not effective in crisis management, to solve the situation in Balkan."

Uhhhh, aren't these the very same democrats who criticize the President for NOT involving the European countries in Iraq?

Gosh, I know I'm losing brain cells, but the logic here escapes me.

'...the European countries, which were not effective in crisis management, to solve the situation in Balkan." '

they haven't figured out the good guys and the bad guys yet...we were formerly confused...islamofascists should now be considered the bad guys. Someone tell the European countries, please...funny how we never hear about THIS war's incorrect intel...

Yeah, those words just kinda jump up off the page at ya, don't they? Interesting admission from a Dem, but it will be buried in the news.

Complete hypocrisy on the part of the Dems. Didn't Clintoon promise us that our troops would be out by Christmas? Where is the complaint that our troops are bogged down in a quagmire? And it is funny to read that Rubin finds the Balkans to be in the utmost interest for the USA.

The Balkan countries: they are still not in front of the NATO doors. These unfortunate words, according to Rubin --Thaci's great friend during the illegal and vicious attack, and during the aftermath when Rubin was sent to meet with Thaci to tell him to reign in the dogs-- these unfortunate words that show no light of understanding. The image of standing "in front of the NATO doors" has a degree of poverty and servitude, revealing clearly a way of thinking that always will get the Balkans wrong, will want to pollute an area with its bases and its extortion leases. No one should wonder that when Rubin speaks of the Balkans, he speaks for NATO.
