"I would just say stay true. Be proud you're a Democrat. Don't run from it."
LOL
Don't run from it."
No faster than the law allows.
Fixed.
Desoto county bump
Yes, just remember Monica etc., the Peacebombs over Yugoslavia, the Democrat Filthfest in New York, the Welstone Funerally, Michael Moore, Larry Flynt, The Gigolo and the Trial Lawyer...(it's hard to know where to stop)...and "be proud you're a Democrat."
You gotta hand it to ol' Michelle. She's got one helluva sense of humor!
"Republican Gov. Haley Barbour is doing for Mississippi what Campbell did for South Carolina ? transforming the state into Republican territory, even at the local level.
"Barbour knows what he's doing. He's a party builder. He knows where the votes are," Black said."
The state of MS just keeps getting better and better.
I bet Julie Goodman is on Tagamet, now.
Go, Haley!
Give Julie an ulcer!
Isn't this quite the article?
Julie is slow to catch on isn't she?
ROTFL.
Regarding the national offices...
Gene Taylor is likely safe, but I
think Clinton LeSeuer can knock-off
Bennie Thompson.
What's with the business about the "white" counties?
Vb is more black than white and Vb went for LeSeuer
last time. Julie neglected to mention the "black"
counties in the Delta. Well, LeSeuer can do GOOD
there too. He has to in order to win.
There are many reasons I'm pulling for a LeSuer win. One of them is that I would love to see the look of fear in Democrats' eyes after they lose an election in a majority black district in the South.
You wanna see fear? That'll scare 'em real good.
LOL!
Right you are.
As for me, I want to see
BLACK Republicans elected
to both Houses of Congress.
Herman Cain of Georgia to the US Senate,
and our Clinton LeSeuer to the US House.

The executive director of the South Carolina Democratic Party, Michelle Macrina, said the SC Democratic party is similar to Mississippi's.
The SC Democratic party does not control the state House or Senate. She said, "We're in the rebuilding stage again."
Macrina thinks the Democrats have the potential to regain ground with some upcoming races, including the one to replace retiring U.S. Sen. Ernest Hollings.
</paraphrase>
I think she's dreaming again, don't you. The Dem's in SC are broke as witnessed by the fact that they couldn't pay the managers and clerks to work the primaries earlier this year and were begging for volunteers.
It seem as though the party here is dying a slow and painful death.
