Joe DioGuardi was in Southern Serbia on the 9th July meeting with Albanian Seperatists there. Sure would have liked to be a "fly on the wall" at that meeting!

DioGuardi talks to Albanian officials
GNJILANE – Former US Congressman Joseph DioGuardi met with Albanian leaders in Southern Serbia today.
DioGuardi met with officials from Democratic Albanian organizations and advised them to work together in order to better their situation.
DioGuardi is known as a vehement supporter of the Albanian community in Serbia and has planned to get one million signatures onto a petition for Kosovo to be recognized as an independent region.
After serving his term in congress, DioGuardi dedicated himself to dealing with the situation of Albanians in the former Yugoslavia and is also a lobbyist for of the Albanian-American Civic League."
Madeline Albright loved to report that she got daily briefings from the head of the KLA every morning of the war. Not a single member of the news media asked why she conferred daily with the head of an organization that was still on the government's list of terrorists. PS: he was really cute.
