From what I understand, every airplane that carries the POTUS is designated AF1, and there are several airplanes that are used to shuttle the pres., the choice of which depends upon the length of the flight and the landing strip among other considerations. I wonder whether the problems are deemed minor or routine or whether they were extra-ordinary. I would also like to know the names of the airmen and civilian technicians on the maintenance crew.

Yes, but I never have seen him flying in the smaller planes, only photos I ever see are the 747's.

And yes, wouldn't you love to know who has access to those planes...

I hope they're all being watched very carefully.
