Wow! It's totally clear here...although I'm north and nearer the coast that Kyla...so I probably am too far to see whatever you (WCG) are seeing...Did you find out more about what it's from yet? Our news didn't have anything about any local fires (or not when I watched at 11).
It's burning in North Palm Springs along 111 by the mountain as of last night about 20% contained.
Doesn't seem like quite as much smoke this morning.
There are homes in that area which were evacuated.
Origin=suspicious.
